*An early career researcher is one who is within 10 years of the award of their first degree with allowances for ‘Contextual Factors’ (personal circumstances which you wish to be taken into consideration, e.g. caring responsibilities, periods of family leave, bereavement, ill health or disability), in which case the organizing committee may agree to accept a reduced-rate registration for those for whom the first degree was awarded more than 10 years previously.
